My computer is not very powerful, how to reduce lags in West Hillside?I am using Firestorm viewer and i have a Macbook Air. The performance of my computer is not really suitable for SecondLife but despite this i manage to access and work in the West Hillside community without too much lag. Here are my tips: All manipulations are to be done in the "Preferences" menu of your viewer - In the "graphics" tab: Reduce your graphic quality (I use medium quality and i use the maximum quality only to take pictures) and Reduce your draw distance (I reduce to 32 and increase slightly when i need) - In the "network and files" tab: Clear your cache regularly (browser cache, inventory cache and your viewer's cache folder) ⚠ Remember to restart your computer (if it has been on for too long it can get slow and a simple restart will solve the problem) ⚠ If you are accessing the sim for the first time or if you access the region again after clearing your cache, objects and textures may take a few minutes to load. Be patient :) If despite all this you still have too much lag, we advise you to visit our available skyboxes. Since lag is a problem especially in busy places like in residential communities, you won't have this problem in our skyboxes since they are in the sky and fairly spaced from each other.

How do i find a home?Consult the availability page to browse our available rentals. Or if you are looking for a house in the community, you also can go directly to West Hillside, walk around and see the availability. Vacant homes will display float text "Locked" above the mailbox. If there is no float text, the home is rented. Please see the "How to Rent" page for the detailed process.

How to set as my home?Home is the location that you teleport to when you choose the menu item "Teleport Home" You can set this location with the menu command World > Set Home to Here ⚠ You must activate .:: Sweet Home ::. [Residents] group to do this manipulation ⚠

How to activate & manage my parcel security?Click on your Home Security Panel and "ARM" you can disarm it when you want by clicking on "DISARM". (The ejection time is set to 10 seconds.) Once armed you then have the possibility to click on "LOCKDOWN", which reduces the ejection time to 0 seconds (instantly ejected). This mode ends automatically when all allowed avatars leave the region. It will therefore have to be reactivated when you enter your home again if everyone has left the region. You can allow access to your guests, ban people and add sub-tenants who can also access the Home Security menu by clicking on "ACCESS".

I just rented but i can't rez.When you rent, you automatically receive an invitation to join the ".:: Sweet Home ::. [Residents]" group. You must join the group to get the rez rights. This is a private group that you can join by invitation only. If you missed this invitation, click on Rental Settings in your Interactive Home Control Panel and "grp invite" to receive another one. Then make sure you activate the group tag every time you want to rez. ➔ See the explanatory video on youtube. If you have joined and activated the group but you still have a problem for rez, build a prim for rez on it. ➔ See the explanatory video on youtube.

How can i make sure my friends, family, decorator... be able to rez?Anyone you want to be able to rez in your home has to be added as a sub-tenant. (See "How to add and remove sub-tenants?") Once added and the group invitation accepted, they can immediately rez. We recommend asking for edit rights for anyone rezzing in your home should you need to move or return their items. ⚠ Their prims will count in your prims allowance. ⚠

I want to know how many prims i used.Click on Rental Settings in your Interactive Home Control Panel and "Land impact". You will receive a message telling you how many prims you used in the local chat. If your land impact is over limit, your Rental Status will display a yellow image. Please made the necessary quickly to reduce your land impact. ⚠ Counting is done every 3 hours, if you've just rez objects click update prims for the system to run a manual count of your prims in order to get the right number of what you use.

How add prims to my home?You can submit a request by contacting MarineAssanti Resident. Only a few prims are available so if they are already allocated to other residents there is no guarantee that it will be accepted. Please note that the weekly price of your rental will increase according to the number of additional prims you want to add and regularization fees will be requested. These regularization fees are one-time payment which correspond to the difference between the initial rental price and the new price with the addittionnal prims which are calculated based on your remaining time. For example: you rented a home for 1 week, the initial price of your home with 1000 prims is 2000Ls. You want to add 500 prims which will increase your rental by 1000Ls/week. At the time of your request to add prims there are 4 days remaining on your rental. We will therefore recalculate the 1000Ls over the remaining 4 days, that making 570Ls. So in this exemple, the regularization fees taking into account the remaining time are 570Ls. If your request is accepted, the new rental price and the regularization fees will be communicated to you. If it suits you, the one-time regularization payment for the time remaining on your rental must be sent by IM to MarineAssanti Resident. Then the prims will be added and the price of your rent will be modified on our server. The update is immediate, you can use your new prims immediately.

Can my tier be transferred to another available home?Yes, if your home no longer suits you and you have time remaining, we offer you the possibility of transferring this remaining time to another available home of your choice. To initiate your transfer request, please complete and send the transfer request form. However, it is important to note that the time remaining on your current home will be calculated based on the price of the new home you have chosen. Additionally, before initiating a transfer request, we require payment for the first week of the new rental. Without this, your request will not be successful.
